Guinness & Chocolate Porter Cake

‘Porter’ was a dark, Irish beer from the 1700’s that predates ‘Guinness Stout’ by many years and referred to as the ‘Working Man’s Pint’!! ‘Porter Cake’ is a rich, buttery, moist fruit cake, but this is a twist on the original.  Instead of fruit we use Chocolate Chips!  Guinness + Chocolate = Genius

Ingredients: Flour (Bleached Wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour, Niacin, Iron, Potassium Bromate, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Guinness, Sugar, Butter (Cream, Salt), Chocolate Morsels (Sugar, Chocolate Liquor, Cocoa Butter, Dextrose, Soy Lecithin, Vanillin), Eggs, Baking Powder (Corn Starch, Baking Soda, Monocalcium Phosphate), Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg, Coriander, All Spice, Cloves, Salt.  

Contains: Wheat, Milk, Eggs, Soy.
